Kamsickas, 53, has broadened Dana's position from the core powertrain components of today to include critical electrified technologies of tomorrow. Notable was the 2019 acquisition of Nordresa Motors Inc., a deal Kamsickas said will support Dana's transition to full-electric powertrains.
Between the growth of its existing product lines and acquisitions of new ones, Dana's work force has grown by half in the U.S.
Kamsickas will join a roster of industry leaders at the Automotive News World Congress on March 24-25 at the TCF Center in Detroit.
Editor's note: Kamsickas is 53 years old. An earlier version of this story said he was 54.
