Kia's new three-row EV9, which will go into production in the fall, has adopted a new technology for seating bases. The roomy EV will offer riders an engaging, RV-like in-vehicle experience thanks to second-row captain's chairs that swivel 180 degrees. That will allow middle and rear passengers to interact in a face-to-face arrangement while the electric crossover is charging.

When turned outward, the innovative chairs give passengers easier entry and exit.
