UK startup picks site for $3.5B EV battery plant

Britishvolt's 30 gigawatt-hour plant in Blyth, England, is scheduled to start production in 2023.
The plant will use renewable energy, including the potential to use hydro-electric power generated in Norway and transmitted 447 miles (720 km) under the North Sea. Britishvolt released an image of what the plant might look like.
