1 Thing We're Talking About: Helping auto technician students find the right employer goal of new partnership

WrenchWay, which connects automotive and diesel technicians with employers, has partnered with Universal Technical Institute to provide students with access to job opportunities at automotive shops and dealerships across the country.

Under the partnership, WrenchWay will sync applicable open job listings with Universal Technical Institute's internal jobs board. This will give students job leads at independent repair facilities and dealerships nationwide.

WrenchWay also will supply details about a shop's work environment, career development and hiring process along with photos and videos. If students still have questions, they can message the shop.

This integration will hasten and ease the search process so students can find job opportunities that line up with their skills and career aspirations. By connecting students directly with employers, WrenchWay and Universal Technical Institute want to make the transition from the classroom to the work force easier.

"By leveraging our platform's unique capabilities and UTI's commitment to excellence in technician education, we can empower UTI students to explore the vast array of opportunities available in the automotive and diesel industries."

Giving students an informative look at some of the best shops and dealership service departments across the U.S. will allow them to make better career decisions, the two organizations said.
