SUBARU: Deliveries rise 23% as Forester leads for third straight month

Subaru sales rose for a 14th consecutive month in September, increasing 23 percent to 56,335 vehicles as the Forester led for a third straight month and the Crosstrek fell to No. 3 behind the Outback.

Brand: Subaru, up 23%.

Notable nameplates: Forester, up 49%; Outback, up 71%; Crosstrek, down 17%.

"Driving into the fourth quarter, we are confident our vehicles' appeal speaks volumes. Did you know? So far this year, Subaru sales in the U.S. are up 17% as the Japanese brand continues to recover from production constraints that hamstrung its ability to produce vehicles last year.
