NEXT STAGE: Freshen in 2021
Lexus is taking another step in upgrading the brand's lagging infotainment system with a refreshed 2022 ES that will moves the central screen closer to the driver and enables touch screen capability. The midsize luxury sedan will also receive safety enhancements as part of a midcycle freshening along with modest styling updates. The interior update shifts the standard 8-inch or optional 12.3-inch infotainment screen 4 inches closer to the driver. The screens are now able to be controlled by touch, in addition to the center console-mounted control pad, Lexus said.
