Production of the Bolt EV EUV, on GM’s previous-generation battery platform, is slated to end in 2024, before GM retools Orion Assembly to build electric pickups in 2024. Chevy reduced the price of the Bolt EV and Bolt EUV by about $6,000 for the 2023 model year. Similar-sized and priced electric crossovers are expected to replace the Bolts later this decade. GM and Honda are working together to build a variety of electric crossovers starting in 2027.
