UVeye (booth 6239), an Israeli tech company that has developed an advanced under-car inspection system for dealership service departments, is partnering with CarMax.
The nation's largest retailer of used vehicles will use UVeye's system to generate reports for wholesale buyers at auctions.
UVeye uses cameras and artificial intelligence to inspect parts that are often overlooked by technicians. Items such as fuel and brake lines, leaks, frame damage and exhaust systems are scanned.
The company counts General Motors, Hyundai, Toyota Tsusho, Volvo and CarMax among its investors.
