Mercedes-Benz plans to make owning a G-Class a little bit easier.
The automaker will build a smaller version of the boxy off-roader, CEO Ola Kallenius said on Sunday.
The vehicle will be electric and "fun to drive — on and off the road," Kallenius said at an event on the eve of the IAA Mobility auto show in Munich.
The current G-Class is among Mercedes's most expensive and profitable models.
