Mercedes-Benz AMG GT
NEXT STAGE: New in 2020
Following the addition of the GT four-door coupe last year, Mercedes-AMG will add the GT 43 entry variant in the fourth quarter of this year. The lower-priced model is powered by a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder turbo engine with 362 hp and 369 pound-feet of torque. It also features Mercedes' EQ Boost system, which adds up to an additional 21 hp and 184 pound-feet of torque, and comes in all-wheel drive with a nine-speed transmission.
NEXT STAGE: Freshen in 2021
The AMG GT two-door and four-door models receive a freshening next year.
Early next year, Mercedes will introduce a top-of-the-line GT, the 720-hp AMG GT Black Series, powered by a 4.0-liter V-8 biturbo engine.
