GM resumes production at Mich. crossover plant after supply snag

General Motors said its crossover plant in Lansing, Mich., resumed production Monday after being idled for a part shortage last week.

Employees at Lansing Delta Township Assembly, which builds the Chevrolet Traverse and Buick Enclave three-row crossovers, were scheduled to report for their normal shifts, a GM spokesperson said. The plant was shut down Friday "due to a temporary supply-chain issue," the automaker previously said.

About 2,300 employees who work on two production shifts were affected, GM said. The automaker has not shared more details on the supply issue, but the spokesperson said it has been resolved.
