The UAW is striking three assembly plants and 38 parts distribution centers after no deal was reached by the Sept. 14 contract expiration. UAW President Shawn Fain said talks are progressing slowly.
The union seeks a self-described “audacious and ambitious” list of demands that include a percent 36 percent raise, a return to traditional pensions and a 32-hour work week.
