TO THE EDITOR:
I worked in automotive dealerships for 40 years as a parts manager and fixed operations director. Now, I do consulting and audits for dealers. I totally agree with Keith Crain's "Let's keep the offices open" (Dec. 24). Parts availability has always been an issue during the holidays. I don't think the factory understands: It's all about the customer; every dime in their pockets came from a customer. They need to wake up.
