Regarding "U.S. identifies 12th Tesla assisted-systems car crash involving emergency vehicle," autonews.com, Sept. 1: This is extremely poor on the part of the drivers, and the Tesla cars should do better. However, without some statistics on how non-Tesla cars do on a percentage basis, the news on the Teslas is, at best, misleading. How Tesla compares with non-Tesla cars in this same regard would be highly enlightening one way or the other.
Overall, how Tesla cars compare with the aggregate of other brands in collision safety would be an extremely useful article to read!
