Jose Muñoz says Hyundai to stay flexible as Trump announces 25% tariffs on imported vehicles

The Metaplant has the capacity to build up to 500,000 vehicles per year and one third will be dedicated to hybrids.
“Definitely all the cars that we produce here are going to be exempted from any tariff,” Hyundai Motor Co. CEO Jose Muñoz said of Hyundai Motor Group's Metaplant in Georgia, which has the capacity to produce 500,000 vehicles per year. (HYUNDAI)
