NEXT STAGE: New in 2019
The smallest of Hyundai's crossovers for the U.S. will arrive in showrooms before year end. The new subcompact is 5 inches shorter than the subcompact Kona. Hyundai intends to price it aggressively as an entry-level vehicle to take the place of the Accent sedan, which starts at $15,925, including shipping. The Venue gets an automatic on the base trim and better infotainment and standard safety equipment, so add a couple thousand dollars to start. Still, Hyundai says the Venue will be significantly cheaper than the Kona, which starts at $21,085, including shipping.
