Chrysler crossover could be on horizon

The Chrysler brand needs fresh product, and it appears a crossover could be on the way in a few years.

Stellantis brought in a new brand CEO last week to shepherd Chrysler at this critical moment.

The recently freshened Pacifica is the brand's volume leader. The 300 sedan is still chugging along, though its end may be near.

300: Production of the long-running sedan could cease in 2023.

Electrified midsize crossover: A forecaster says a Chrysler crossover is expected to be produced alongside the next-generation Dodge Challenger and Charger on the STLA Large platform for electrified vehicles. Production could begin in 2024.

Voyager: The fleet-only minivan is expected to be redesigned in 2026.

Pacifica/Pacifica Hybrid: The Pacifica was freshened for the 2021 model year, and a redesigned model may arrive at dealerships in 2026. The 2022 model gets Amazon Fire TV for Auto, which allows passengers to access their favorite shows, movies, streaming apps and Amazon Alexa. The minivan also has a new color option for 2022 called Silver Mist.
