Ford to idle F-150 Lightning EV plant in mid-November for rest of year

Ford CEO Jim Farley, on the automaker's Oct. 28 third-quarter earnings call, cited the “slow uptake of EVs,” including its F-150 Lightning, as a challenge, but said he was pleased with the strength of Ford’s overall electric vehicle strategy.
