Ford Bronco Sport
NEXT STAGE: New in 2020
The 2021 Ford Bronco Sport, which shares a platform with the Escape and Lincoln Corsair compact crossovers, is designed for customers who may not want as extreme an adventure as the bigger Bronco, but still offers four-wheel-drive capability and multiple off-road features. The Bronco Sport's wheelbase, ground clearance and independent front and rear suspensions are unique. The unibody Bronco Sport targets rivals such as the Jeep Compass and Honda CR-V. The Bronco Sport will be powered by a standard 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine that gets 181 hp and 190 pound-feet of torque. There’s an optional 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine that gets 250 hp and 277 pound-feet of torque. Both engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The Bronco Sport is set to go on sale later this year and is priced from $28,155, including shipping.
