The new owner of Lee Iacocca's Bel Air estate is a former reality TV star who sells a line of mink eyelashes and calls herself "Persian Barbie."
Lilly Ghalichi, who appeared on one season of the Bravo show "Shahs of Sunset," and husband Dara Mir paid $19.5 million, according to Variety, for the nearly 11,000-square-foot Italianate mansion. The former Chrysler chairman lived there from 1993 until his July 2019 death.
Iacocca's daughters put the home on the market in January for $26 million. It's across the street from the Bel Air Hotel and has five fireplaces, four bedrooms, a tennis court and a staff apartment.
Ghalichi founded Lilly Lashes, a brand popularized by celebrities including Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga and multiple Kardashians that reportedly generates more than $15 million in annual revenue.
Her husband — the couple wed in 2017 and filed for divorce last year before changing their minds — owns another estate in the same neighborhood. Coincidentally, that property is located next door to the main residence of another famous automotive executive: Tesla's Elon Musk.
