The company will bring back the iconic Bronco SUV to its lineup. There will be an all-electric crossover bearing the Mustang name. And Ford will redesign the F-series pickup. Last week, the F series chalked up its 38th-straight year as the best- selling vehicle line in the U.S.
The product push will follow a 2019 marked by a slowdown in China, a renegotiated UAW contract, production snags with the redesigned Explorer, and partnerships with Germany's Volkswagen and India's Mahindra & Mahindra.
All this will give Hinrichs plenty to talk about when he addresses the 2020 Automotive News World Congress on March 24 at the TCF Center in downtown Detroit.
He will be part of a roster of industry leaders headlining the two-day event.
