While the Ford Bronco and Jeep Wrangler battle for off-road supremacy, the third member of the Detroit 3 has no plans to join the fight. For now, anyway.
"I'm not gonna do a Bronco," General Motors President Mark Reuss told The Drive at the 24 Hours of Daytona race recently.
But Reuss later clarified that he was only ruling out a gasoline-powered, two-row, body-on-frame SUV. Asked if GM was opposed to building an electric Bronco challenger one day, he replied, "I didn't say that."
