Barrett-Jackson is auctioning off two vehicles this month from the personal collection of Edsel Ford II, including a 1958 version of the car named after his grandfather.
"This is an amazing opportunity to buy 'Edsel's Edsel,' as well as his Ford Woody Wagon," Barrett-Jackson CEO Craig Jackson said in a statement. "This pair of handsome cars carries the gravitas of being owned by an icon of the American automotive industry."
The Edsel is a Bermuda wagon that was upgraded in 2016 with a V-8 engine, three-speed automatic transmission and revamped interior. Also up for auction is a 1947 Ford Super Deluxe Custom Woody Wagon. Both are autographed by Edsel Ford II, a Ford Motor Co. board member and cousin of Executive Chairman Bill Ford.
