- RK Chevrolet in Vineland, N.J., raised $58,523 as part of the dealership’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, a fundraising walk on Ocean City Boardwalk. A team of 150 people walked in honor of the late Sandy Gee, wife of dealership President Jim Gee.
- Sheehy Auto Stores collected more than 3,000 toys over the holidays to benefit charities in each of its dealerships’ communities. Benefactors included the Salvation Army, EllaStrong Foundation, ACES, Toys for Tots, Children in Need, Colonial Heights Baptist Church, Charles County Children’s Aid Society and Laurel Advocacy & Referral Services. Sheehy has 31 stores in the Washington, D.C., and Baltimore region.
