Volkswagen Group’s deliveries in China, its largest single market, shrank for two consecutive months, with July volume falling ten percent year on year to 260,400.
Through July, the German auto giant’s sales in the market dipped 2.7 percent to 1.7 million, according to numbers it released on August 18.
VW Group didn’t provide a sales breakdown for its brands in China.
Despite the contraction of its China deliveries, the German group’s global sales rose 6.6 percent to 773,400 in July.
For the first seven months, it delivered more than 5.1 million vehicles worldwide, a 12 percent jump from a year earlier.
