China’s new-vehicle market has contracted for the seventh straight month as global semiconductor chip crunch continued to curb vehicle production.
In November, new-vehicle deliveries industrywide dropped 11 percent from a year earlier to some 2.47 million, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers said Thursday, drawing on its preliminary tally.
The trade group didn’t disclose the estimated volumes of light vehicles or commercial vehicles for last month.
