French supplier Faurecia S.A. appointed Ma Chuan, head of its automotive seating unit in China, the new chief of its overall China operations.
Ma will become president of Faurecia China on Sept. 1, the company said this week.
Ma joined Faurecia in 2009. He became vice president of the French supplier’s automotive seating business in China in 2016, and president of the unit in 2017.
François Tardif, Faurecia’s current China president, has been appointed executive vice president for the French company’s operations in Asia.
Faurecia operates 65 plants, 11 R&D centers and six tech centers in China, with a local workforce of around 20,400 people.
