Chevrolet Trax
NEXT STAGE: New in 2023
Chevrolet will launch a new Trax after it discontinues the current Trax subcompact crossover. Chevrolet confirms that production of the current model will end in late 2022. AutoForecast Solutions expects output to end in November.
The new model, like the current version, will be a gasoline-powered, small, entry-level crossover, according to a Chevy spokeswoman. Chevy plans to reveal the new Trax in 2022, and output is slated to begin in the first half of 2023, the spokeswoman said. Chevy did not say where the new Trax will be built, but LMC Automotive, a forecasting firm, expects production to remain in South Korea.
