Subaru will replace the current WRX high-performance sedan with a new model for the 2022 model year. But that's all Subaru is saying for now. No prices. No technical details. No launch timing. But we do know that the next-generation WRX will be built on the current Impreza platform and sport a turbo boxer engine and all-wheel drive. Fans of the cult classic rally car grumbling online last week said they want Subaru to also offer a hatchback version.
