Fisker will display a top-spec version of its upcoming Ocean full-electric crossover at the 2022 Paris auto show, the company said in a statement.
The Californian EV startup has said it is still on track to start production of the midsize SUV with Austrian contract manufacturer Magna Steyr on Nov. 17.
The Ocean Extreme to be shown in Paris will be the most expensive of the three mainstream production trim levels offered by Fisker and will cost from 69,950 euros in France, Fisker said.
The Ultra will be the next model, followed by the cheapest Sport variant, which will cost from 41,900 euros in Europe, the company said.
Fisker will produce higher priced models first, starting with the limited-edition Ocean One launch version, then continuing with the Extreme.
Production of the Sport will begin in the third quarter of 2023, Fisker said in its second-quarter earnings call in August.
Fisker has so far resisted increasing prices in response to raw material cost rises.
Initial sales will kick off in November in the launch markets ofthe U.S., Germany, Austria, Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, before French sales begin in April and in the UK and Canada in June next year.
The company, run by former Aston Martin design Henrik Fisker, plans to make between 40,000-50,000 of the Ocean in 2023.
Fisker had 56,000 reservations for the car and 5,000 pre-orders for the Fisker One, Fisker said on the August earnings call.
Fisker will display the car on the show stand of its finance partner in France, Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance.
The Paris show, whose official name is the Mondial de l’Auto, runs from Oct. 17-23.
