Mazda Motor Corp. is adding a Carbon Turbo trim to the Mazda3, CX-30 and CX-5 lineups for the 2024 model year.
All three vehicles will feature a turbocharged engine, standard all-wheel drive and distinct styling.
The automaker is combining the sleek and sporty design elements in its Carbon Edition package with the zippier turbocharged engine that powers the Turbo models of the 2023 CX-5 compact crossover.
Carbon Turbo variants of the Mazda3 compact sedan, CX-30 subcompact crossover and CX-5 will use a turbocharged 2.5-liter engine paired with a six-speed automatic that delivers up to 256 hp and 320 pound-feet of torque. It boosts output of the Mazda3 and CX-30 by 6 hp. Torque remains the same.
