Audi is upgrading safety features on the A4 and A5 and including a mild-hybrid system to boost available power as part of changes and updates to its 2021 lineup, which were announced Wednesday.
The 2021 Audi A4 sedan and A5 coupe will get a 13-hp boost to their turbocharged inline-four engines, thanks to the introduction of a 12-volt mild-hybrid system. In addition, the base model A4 will now come standard with all-wheel drive, while the A5 Sportback will add an optional awd derivative in the coming model year, the brand said. Apple CarPlay, lane-departure warning and an integrated toll module will also become standard, the brand said.
