BMW electrifies Mexico plant as Trump threatens to cut supply from southern border

BMW is expanding its Mexico vehicle assembly plant to build EVs.
BMW is investing $868 million in its San Luis Potosi assembly plant to build next-generation electric vehicles. The body shop, assembly and logistics areas will be expanded and a battery pack assembly center will be built. (BMW)
