Automotive News changes size rankings for Best Dealerships To Work For

Automotive News made changes to some rankings for the 2023 Best Dealerships To Work For program, aimed at boosting participation among smaller stores.

The program, now in its 12th year, honors 100 dealerships across the country for creating positive work environments for employees.

This year, Automotive News ranked the small, medium and large categories based on dealership group employee count rather than the honored store's employee count, which was used in previous years.

The small category is for single stores or those that are part of groups with 25 to 999 employees; medium is for dealerships that are part of groups with 1,000 to 4,999 employees; and large is for dealerships that are part of groups with 5,000 or more employees.
