Proudest achievement: "My proudest achievement is my involvement in the turnaround. It's been terrific. The challenges that we were confronted with beginning in the early '90s really made us pull together as a senior management team."
On being successful: "Three things are key in my business: having a sense of priorities, having a sense of urgency and having a sense of humor. The three together, for me, have made it just a rewarding and delightful experience."
On being a woman in the industry: "It did (affect me) to a certain degree. Everyone brings to the business his or her own unique attributes. If one of mine is being female, that can have a positive impact; it brings another perspective. I've been given the opportunity to give my perspective. From that standpoint, (being a woman) did have an impact."
