Consumers want to know the incentives they qualify for before they get to the showroom, says John Giamalvo, vice president of dealer services at Equifax. F&I managers can take advantage of that by contacting website shoppers about checking credit scores or loan prequalification. “Dealers can distinguish themselves in the marketplace by garnering trust from the consumers by giving that consumer transparency,” Giamalvo said.
