Automotive News has won a 2018 Neal Award for its 2017 series "Redesigning the Industry."
The package of stories, which ran weekly from Nov. 5 to Dec. 11, set out to explore how cars will be built, sold, used and serviced in an industry facing unprecedented disruption. "Redesigning the Industry" was named the top entry in the "Best Series" category.
The Neal Awards, given by the Association of Business Information and Media Companies, mark a pinnacle of achievement in business-to-business journalism.
The project was led by Richard Johnson, print editor of Automotive News, and featured contributions from the paper's print, online and TV staffs. It can be seen at autonews.com/redesigning.
