DETROIT -- As Ford Motor Credit Co. CEO Joy Falotico takes the next step in her career this week, the digital skills she honed throughout 29 years at the captive will poise her for her new roles at Ford Motor Co. and Lincoln Motor Co.
Falotico, who will remain chairman of Ford Credit, will take over as chief marketing officer for Ford Motor and group vice president in charge of Lincoln on Thursday, March 1. She will succeed Kumar Galhotra, who was elevated to replace Raj Nair as president of North America. Nair was ousted last week for unspecified "inappropriate behavior," which led to six executive promotions.
Twenty-five-year Ford Credit veteran David McClelland, 48, will become CEO of the captive March 1. Most recently, he was executive vice president of marketing and Asia Pacific.
