Subaru of America's streak of monthly year-over-year sales increases has moved into a new year.
The streak now stands at 74 months of year-over-year gains as Subaru had its best January ever in the U.S.
Total sales: 44,357 vehicles, a 1.1 percent increase.
Notable nameplates: Outback up 0.7%, Forester down 16%, Crosstrek up 45%, Legacy down 15%, Impreza up 4.8%, WRX/STI down 10% and BRZ up 15%.
Incentives: $1,284 per vehicle, up 33 percent from a year earlier, according to ALG.
Average transaction price: $27,697, down 0.6 percent from a year earlier, according to ALG.
