American Honda Motor Co. sales dipped 1.7 percent in January from the year-earlier period, totaling 104,542 vehicles.
The sales results were weighed down by the Accord, CR-V and Ridgeline, which all experienced double-digit declines for the month.
Brands: Honda division sales fell 1.6% to 95,634, while Acura dropped 3.2%.
Notable nameplates: Pilot up 62%; HR-V up 10%; Civic up 2.8%; Accord down 9.5%; CR-V down 17%; Ridgeline down 21%; Odyssey down 6.2%. For Acura, TLX rose 13%; MDX down 9.3%; RDX down 7.5%.
Incentives: Down 1.5% to $2,063, according to ALG.
Average transaction price: Up 2.4% to $27,997, ALG says.
U.S. market share: 9% in January 2018 vs. 9.5% for all of 2017 and 9.3% in January 2017.
