The 60-second ad is scheduled to air during the third quarter of the Super Bowl on Feb. 4. This is the automaker's ninth consecutive year advertising in the Super Bowl.
The commercial was supervised by Saad Chehab, vice president of marketing and communications, who joined Kia Motors America in May and parted ways with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles in 2015.
Kia's U.S. sales dropped 21 percent to 43,039 vehicles in December from the year-earlier period. For 2017, sales slipped 8.9 percent to 589,668 vehicles.
