Another hunt is afoot. Following the melee among U.S. cities to become the site of Amazon's second headquarters, Apple said Wednesday that it would open a second U.S. campus outside of Silicon Valley. The announcement is sure to bring cities knocking on the tech giant's door with competing tax incentives, and signals the company's expanding ambitions.
Dueling AVs. During the Detroit auto show, Waymo had Ohio Gov. John Kasich sit in its self-driving Chrysler Pacifica minivan. Down the road at nearly the same time, General Motors showed off its driverless prototype during an employee meeting at its headquarters in the Renaissance Center.
