NASHVILLE — Christian Meunier, Nissan's senior vice president for U.S. sales & marketing and operations, will move to a newly created post leading global sales and marketing for Infiniti.
Replacing him is Dan Mohnke, a veteran of Saturn retail strategy who most recently led Nissan's efforts to improve its U.S. retail performance.
The changes were effective immediately.
Meunier's new role was created in response to global growth at Infiniti. The premium brand's Hong Kong-based president, Roland Krueger, currently oversees products, marketing and retail networks around the world.
Meunier will remain based in suburban Nashville but report directly to Krueger. All global regions will report to Meunier.
Mohnke has held marketing and strategic management posts since joining Nissan in 2006. He worked for General Motors' Saturn Division in dealer network development, retail strategy and regional operations.
