John Krafcik, CEO of Waymo, the Google affiliate working on self-driving vehicle technology, will give the keynote speech at the 2018 National Automobile Dealers Association convention in March in Las Vegas.
Krafcik is scheduled to speak on March 24, the third day of the event, NADA said Thursday.
Other speakers will include Nick Saban, head football coach of the University of Alabama, and Robert O'Neill, the team leader at the Naval Special Warfare Development Group. As usual, the outgoing NADA chairman, Mark Scarpelli, and the incoming chairman, Wes Lutz, will speak.
The convention will take place March 22-25 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. It is expected to attract representatives from more than 10,000 dealerships.
