Ferrari has unveiled the Portofino, its new entry-level replacement for the California.
The hard-top convertible is powered by a 592 hp V-8 engine that accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 3.5 seconds. Its top speed is 198 mph.
The Portofino gets Ferrari's E-Diff 3 electronic rear differential to improve traction and electric power steering. It weighs significantly less than the California T as a result of an all-new chassis, Ferrari said in a statement.
The public debut will be at the Frankfurt auto show next month.
