TO THE EDITOR:
I enjoyed Keith Crain's column in the Feb. 13 issue ("A car-crazy kid in Chicago").
I'm 68, and I too attended the Chicago show and came home with bags filled with brochures and remembered the cars being driven onstage.
As a young man, I worked for Geo. W. Bowers Dodge and was given auto show duty, replacing the parts that people stole the night before.
That show inspired me so that I couldn't resist, and I'm a Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-Ram dealer on Chicago's south side. Crain's article really brought back memories.
