Editor's note: An earlier version of this story incorrectly identified one of the sporty features on a Toyota Camry caught by a spy photographer.
Toyota’s next-generation Camry is close to breaking cover -- and it’s bringing a more aggressive sport-tuned model with it.
That’s according to recent spy photos of a lightly disguised, eighth-generation Toyota Camry, which is widely expected to debut at the 2017 Detroit auto show in January.
The model snapped was wearing camouflage only -- no bulky panels to disguise the sheet metal. Sport-oriented features include quad tailpipes at the rear, a trunk-mounted spoiler and black alloy wheels. (Those wheels were also seen on an earlier prototype testing this summer.)
