After giving more than $10 million to Nova Southeastern University over the years, AutoNation Inc. saw its name go on top of the university's new research institute last week. The school, in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., opened its Center for Collaborative Research, which includes the AutoNation Institute for Breast and Solid Tumor Cancer Research. AutoNation, the country's largest new-car retailer, also supports the Breast Cancer Research Foundation through its annual Drive Pink campaign, which kicks off in October, and its title sponsorship of college football's AutoNation Cure Bowl.
