Cadillac President Johan de Nysschen, who is aggressively setting a new course for the luxury brand, will speak at the Automotive News World Congress on Jan. 11.
Since taking over leadership of the General Motors brand in 2014, de Nysschen has emphasized autonomy for Cadillac from its corporate parent, moving its headquarters from Detroit to New York’s SoHo neighborhood.
The former Audi of America CEO and global head of Infiniti also has moved aggressively to reconfigure Cadillac’s U.S. dealer strategy. His Project Pinnacle initiative is designed to overhaul everything from how dealerships interact with customers to how they present their showrooms and service departments.
De Nysschen also has been unusually candid about the brand’s product plans, which include a new flagship model and a new small car.
