A peek at the production Bolt
The production version of the 2017 Chevrolet Bolt electric vehicle, caught during a photo shoot near Palm Springs, Calif., closely resembles the 2016 Chevrolet Volt plug-in hybrid with its grille and side styling. But its appearance differs from the Bolt concept shown at the 2015 Detroit auto show. The production version's front end and A-pillar differ from those of the concept. Behind the B-pillar, the window cut gets a sharper angle, instead of the flat line on the concept. The C-pillar has more of a "floating" look. The production Bolt will be unveiled in January at International CES, the annual consumer electronics show in Las Vegas, rather than at a traditional auto show. Expect production in mid-2016.
